Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction
1.1 These T&C govern your use of the Street Skills Hub (the “Platform”), operated by Roof‑A‑Ruff Sleeper.
1.2 By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these T&C.

2. Scope of Services
2.1 The Platform acts as a conduit to showcase providers offering skills‑based services (e.g., plumbing, coding).
2.2 Roof‑A‑Ruff Sleeper does not endorse, vet, or guarantee the qualifications, quality, safety, or legal compliance of any Provider.

3. User Conduct
3.1 Users acknowledge that interactions, negotiations, and contracts occur directly between Users and Providers.
3.2 Users must comply with all applicable laws (labour, trade, tax, health & safety, etc.) in South Africa.

4. Disclosure & Assumption of Risk
4.1 You acknowledge and agree that Roof‑A‑Ruff Sleeper:
4.1.1 does not provide, supervise, or manage any services—you engage directly with Providers;
4.1.2 is not responsible for the competence, background, or performance of any Provider;
4.1.3 makes no representations or warranties regarding results or safety.
4.2 By using the Platform: You assume all risk related to engaging a Provider—including losses, damages, theft, fraudulent/criminal acts, negligence, or misconduct of Providers.

5. Exclusion of Liability
5.1 Roof‑A‑Ruff Sleeper and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors, or agents are not liable for:
• any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages;
• loss of profit, data, goodwill, or business interruption;
• losses from theft, fraud, criminal activity, or misconduct by any Provider;
• any injuries, deaths, or property damage connected to services obtained via Providers.
5.2 This exclusion applies even if Roof‑A‑Ruff Sleeper was advised of the possibility of such damages, or for any legal claim (contract, delict, statute, or otherwise).

6. Independent Contractors
6.1 Providers are independent contractors. Roof‑A‑Ruff Sleeper is never liable for their actions or omissions.
6.2 Users agree not to treat Roof‑A‑Ruff Sleeper as a principal or employer of any Provider.
6.3 Vicarious liability does not apply .

7. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Roof‑A‑Ruff Sleeper from and against all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform or engagement with Providers.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These T&C are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. All disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

9. Modification
We may revise these T&C at any time by posting updated terms on the Platform. Your continued use after posting indicates acceptance.

10. Entire Agreement
These T&C, together with any policies we reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Roof‑A‑Ruff Sleeper regarding the Platform.
